For 2018 we travel to 'Way's Creek' where sweet bluegrass music fills the air, scarecrows line the fields and 'yee-haw' sails on the western breeze!

Stamp your feet as we jig along to an excerpt from 'Caty Wompus' performed by Flex Dance Co, clap your hands along withnew vibrant inclusive youth dance work including the premiere of a new dance piece bringing together the Emerging Young Dancers Programme with Durham's own D+; and join in with the amazing finale hoe-down for everyone by Dusk til Dawn!

Join in with a range of dance-inspired activities throughout the day designed to cater for all including a visit to the farm in our Tiny TINs workshop for the younger ones amongst us; line dancing at the barn and the hoe-down finale at the end of the day! Plus join Jack Drum Arts making music with found instruments.

Join Yvonne Preston from Scrap Arts Studio to make your own mini-scarecrow; Emma Tilney of SomniArts brings the fantastic 'Papa Legba's Charms' and the Pui Lee will be creating wonderful 'wanted posters' as part of a poster/photo booth. Don't forget there is also the chance to 'make' an impression with free face-painting with Toni Tedesco.
